Pac 12 Quarterbacks

What a strange time for football fans, the Pac 12 is seemingly crumbling after this season and I don’t know if enough people are talking about how talented the Quarterbacks are in this conference. Lets spotlight and show some love to the talented group before… well, before we can’t anymore.

Caleb Williams

I think it is fair to start with the reigning Heisman trophy winner, Caleb doesn’t look like he is playing with a Heisman hangover. Playing well in Week 0 against SJSU and Week 1 against Nevada it is safe to say he has a bright future. Presumably the #1 pick in the 2024 draft (or 2025 according to his dad) Caleb is one of the best in the Pac 12 and in all of college football.

Shedeur Sanders

I will be the first to admit, I thought Colorado was going to struggle this year. 510 yards, 4 TDs and a win over last year’s national championship runner-up TCU is a great way to make a first impression. Colorado has some tough games ahead but I can’t wait to see what Sanders is able to do going forward.

Michael Penix Jr.

Michael Penix Jr. has become a DOG. Always an entertaining player but he really has elevated his game, a top 10 team and throwing for 5 TDs in the first game is a great way to start the season for the Huskies. Should be a great season for Penix, I love seeing his name climbing up draft boards.

Bo Nix

The evolution of Bo Nix has been a fun one, he seemed to be the little engine that could when he started at Auburn and then has become a dude. Plays with so much more confidence, I don’t know if we learned anything new with his performance against Portland State but I would be willing to bet he finishes his college career with strong numbers.

DJ Uiagalelei

Clemson may be a sinking ship, DJU transferring to a team with a great offensive line and an opportunity to show he can still play ball. I am rooting like hell for DJ, fun player to watch that carried a lot of criticism. Oregon State is a team I am excited to check out the rest of this season.

Cameron Rising

No Week 1 highlights to show because a nagging injury kept him out of the Florida game week 1, the Utes looked solid while the Gators struggled. Rising coming back has to be exciting, he is capable of leading Utah in big games. Let’s enjoy some 2022 highlights while we patiently wait for him to hit the field this season.

Dante Moore

I love this kid, this might be more of a prediction/hope that he will be a stud. After a very interesting recruiting journey it was nice to see Dante Moore get on the field so early in his collegiate career, just like coming out of high school he has a great arm and accurate passer. Sure he may have some growing pains like just about every player from high school to college but I look forward to seeing this guy play.
