The Ohio State Buckeyes College Football team is gearing up for what promises to be an exhilarating 2023/2024 season. With a strong roster of talented players and a winning tradition, expectations are high for the Buckeyes to once again dominate the gridiron. Led by head coach Ryan Day, the team is known for their high-powered offense and suffocating defense.

Ohio State Buckeyes

Quarterback

On the offensive side of the ball, quarterbacks Kyle McCord or Devin Brown are more than capable of running the show and throwing to the Buckeyes’ potent passing attack.

Wide Receiver

The winner will be supported by a talented group of wide receivers, including star Marvin Harrison Jr, Emeka Egbuka, and Julian Fleming.

Running Back

On the ground, running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Willaims will look to build on his success from last season, providing a balanced attack.

Offensive Line

The offensive line, anchored by standout left tackle Josh Frayar, will provide protection for McCord or Brown and open up running lanes for the talented backfield.

Defensive Line

Defensively, the Buckeyes boast a formidable unit that is known for its speed and physicality. Anchoring the line will be defensive ends Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau who have combined for 13.5 sacks. They are disruptive forces who has the ability to wreak havoc on opposing offenses.

Linebackers

Linebackers Tommy Eichenberg and Steele Chambers will serve as the heart and soul of the defense, using their instincts and athleticism to make plays all over the field.

Defensive Secondary

In the secondary, cornerbacks Denzel Burke, Jordan Hancock, and Ole Miss transfer Davison Igbinosun provide lockdown coverage, while safeties Lathan Ransom, Josh Protor, and Syracuse transfer Ja’Had Carter brings a hard-hitting presence to the defensive backfield.

Special Teams

Special teams are strong with Parker Lewis as the placekicker, Jayden Fielding handling kickoffs, and Jesse Mirco as the punter. Wide receiver Egbuka will return punts and kickoffs.

The Buckeyes’ schedule is filled with tough matchups against conference rivals and non-conference foes, including marquee road games against Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and archrival Michigan.

These games will undoubtedly test the Buckeyes’ mettle and serve as opportunities for the team to showcase their talent on a national stage.
